In week 22!
This photo is from last week...
Pregnancy is going well. I do love it! I seem to lose much of my grace when I'm pregnant. I get clumsy with certain things and I just have to laugh at myself.
I have a cracked rib right now. I can't determine whether it was from my severe coughing or from falling down the stairs. Either way, it really hurts. It has limited certain things for me and it just plain hurts.
I got a severe cramp on Tuesday. I could hardly breathe and couldn't bend over or stretch up. Oweee. With a little blessing and a heat pad I was up and at 'em in no time!
The kids are really excited about their brother with no name! G keeps saying "since we can't agree on a name he just won't get one", which is pretty much the reasoning at our house! If we can't agree then we go without!
They like to talk to him and Q has suddenly started telling me all about when she becomes a mommy. Every phrase starts with "when I'm a mommy" then continues with what she will and won't do, like when I'm a mommy I'm still not going to drive because I won't know how, or when I'm a mommy this will be my room. Tonight my naughty kids got water all over the floor while bathing, something that does not fly at my house, and after being punished she proceeded to tell me that when she is a mommy she is going to let her kids get water all over the floor. I looked at her and said NO, you won't, (how could she be okay with that, she is just like me?) but I hope they disobey just like you so you can feel how frustrating it is! I'm sure it's not a "Parenting Magazine" answer, but I did find joy in the hopes that she will one day have a child like herself!
I wondered if G would even care about me being prego and having a new baby, but he's been very sweet and randomly holds my tummy and says "hi baby".
Q is just going to be great when this baby comes. She is already in little mommy mindset... see previous paragraph!
I am enjoying so much being able to feel this little guy moving all around. You can now feel him from the outside! What a blessing to be pregnant. It sure is a special time!
