The Halls are Decked
I thought I'd share some holiday love from the McAfee home.
We are doing well.
We went and got our tree last Thursday. We decided to try a spruce instead of a fir this year. I love the fir trees, always have, but the spruce has stronger boughs. It isn't as fragrant and is very poky, but we love our tree this year! It is beautiful.
I have been trying to find and advent calendar. I want to countdown, with the kids, the days until Christmas. I couldn't find one, so I just made a calendar page and we are stamping the days until Christmas.
The Christmas show is coming up and I'm excited to see the piece I choreographed. It's been a long time since I've created a whole piece. Can't wait!
I went out this past weekend with some dance friends. We went to a club called Quote. It was fun to be with them. It's been a long time since I've been dancing. I did come home with an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for what I had waiting there for me. Nothing new, just all that I have been blessed with. Sometimes it hits you at the oddest times.
I had a photo shoot last week. Nancy had her baby. She is the friend who's daughter I watch. It was fun, it's been a while since I've shot a baby. I'll show some photos with my next post.
