New banner!
I took that photo while we were camping back in June. There was another dragonfly that was a bright green. I may swap out photos in a bit... now that I can do the banner thing!
I sent many emails today and spent much time at the computer.
Tomorrow I hope to spend time at my desk.
Funny how I finally have some time and instead of creating I sit here and read, some interesting, some boring, just surfing and reading. Completely unproductive.
I did have a reflective moment today. I was reading this book my friend gave me ("Sole Sisters", it's full of inspirational running stories) and Q went and got some scrapbooks to thumb through. They were mine from college. As she was asking me why her dad wasn't in the pictures, turning pages and looking, she flipped past my essays. I took a creative writing class in college and saved everything. After she was done I took a look for myself. I went back and read my essays. I read what my professor had to say. I looked at my process. I evaluated my writing style. It was good. I have seen growth, even without effort or guidance. I guess that would be 'maturity' I see (insert sarcastic voice here).
It's good to go back to see how far we have come.
