We've sprung a leak!

Well, I keep wanting to get to my computer, but I have been BUSY!

Wednesday was my 29th birthday. I do want to say thanks to all who have thought about me and wished me well. Even just a birthday wish means the world to me! It means you have remembered little ol' me! I have such wonderful friends, thank you all.

Matt got me a very nice tripod. It's pretty professional, way nice! Love it! We went to eat at Red Robin, where I ate fries to my heart's content!

Thursday I got together with some gals that I'm doing preschool with this year. It will be a good group and we are all excited. I think it will be great for Q to have something to look forward to and I think she'll thrive in a learning environment. I think G will enjoy it too, when it's our turn to teach.

Thursday night I went to a baby shower. It was good and I made a little scrapbook for the mother to be. It has gotten me into a groove and I'm ready to go! Can't wait to scrap!

Friday Q & G went to a birthday party for Marcus. It was SO nice! I got to go shopping by myself! I got a bunch of stuff for the house! I felt like I needed to pay them or something for taking both of my kids!

After a meeting in the afternoon Matt and I went out on a date. We went to eat at Roadhouse Grill then went to Barnes and Noble to read. I read up on some photography stuff and Matt read a business book. Isn't that thrilling!? We loved it though and will most certainly do it again.

Satuday I CLEANED! We have done some trials on vacuums and have finally decided on two. I now have a vacuum for the hard surfaces, which are the majority of our house, it's so nice to have a vacuum specific for that. We also got the updated model of our vacuum that went out, it's a Hoover. I also finished some projects I've been working on, planned my lesson, did all of our laundry... and showered!

In the midst of all this we have sprung some leaks! This past week a guy came to look in our basement where we have found water leaking. Fortunately it doesn't look like a foundation problem, it looks like we need to update or put in flashing under the kitchen door that leads out to our deck. Then, this morning I came down to find water all over our counter, from the ceiling, it was dripping through the cabinets. Our paint is bubbling. Nice. We have someone coming to look at that. We won't be buying old houses again!

Here are two layouts I did this past week. Nothing special, but still a memory of us. I posted these photos on here a while back. The top is of Q having a tea party (with her diet Pepsi and tylenol) and the second is of our stack of printers when we were deciding which one to buy.

I did a photo shoot for a friend um... last week? Here is a taste. I'll put the rest over yonder in the photsite.
