The witch is in...
I think I'm a witch...
No, really, I'm serious...
When I was young I had two warts on my thumb... I know gross... I was self conscious of them for far too long. One day my mom took me to my grandma and asked her to "charm" them off of me. My grandma got a little piece of string, tied it in a single knot and wrapped it around my wart. I didn't hear any wired chanting, I didn't feel any pain, after a few moments she told me she was done. That's it! Whatever! I went on about my way. I don't even think I noticed they were gone, until, they were gone!
I don't know how I started this, or who was my first attempt, but I too can "charm" the warts away!
I've done it for my brother, for a friend, back when I was in high school, myself, and my most recent was my sister.
She came to see me in February and I worked my magic. I saw her in May and she said she wanted a second helping because my concentration was broken the first time. We never did get around to that. When I saw her on our trip to UT I asked if her wart was gone. Yep! She spent less $$$ buying her plane ticket to see me and get "charmed" than in her multiple attempts to get rid of the thing with a doctor!
I was telling my mom about this in the car. She told me her mom took her to someone to hers taken off. She thought it was interesting that grandma passed that on to me.
Oddly enough I never knew exactly how my grandma did it. She never told me. I also do it in a completely different way than she did to me. Things that make you go hmmmmm...
I went to the doctor today, had my blood drawn, I think they took something out with the blood! I had a major headache and somehow lost my sense of humor and patience!!! I'm getting it back slowly!
I have finally spent some time at my desk scrapping. I've finished 2 layouts. Hello! Long time no scrap.
I'll leave you with some "Studio C" photos. A little spin off of Studio A (Ali Edwards)
This is my display wall, where I enjoy my little pieces of art before I put them in an album. This lovely quote helps me remember that every page is valid and worthwhile, even if it never gets published! (the majority of them never will!)
This little corner is where my magnet boards are, complete with handmade magnets... Love how the "inspire" turned out.
That's it for today. I'm outa here... on my broom of course!
