Update...

To finish the update from our UT trip...

Sunday we got together with my family. My little brother blessed his baby boy at church so we all met up there. I took pictures after the meeting and was going to show them here, but, that's why I have photosite! Look here to see them.

(I'm not sure where she got the it, but I got the photo idea from Lynette )

After hanging out with my family for a bit.. and diffusing the fit of craziness from my daughter, (that deserves a post of it's own) we went back to my mom's house. When the kids got up from their nap we took them along with Grandma and Grandpa to see the Salt Lake Temple. It was fun for them to see where Matt and I were married. They've only seen pictures.

It was, finally, on the way to the temple that Q let go of 'being afraid' of her grandpa. He talks differently, he walks differently, but he's still my dad, and I want my kids to know and love him, not be afraid of him.

I have to say that we really enjoyed staying at my parents' house. It was sweet to have my mom to myself, to see her play with my kids only. They loved feeding her fish, talking to her, getting loves. It was great.

Monday my mom and I went shopping, always fun. That evening we met the Watt's for dinner (Lynette I still need a copy of those photos). Angela & Kurt came too. Good times. I love laughing my guts out! After dinner we went up to the Watt's and hung out for a while before the kiddies needed us (my mom watched them for us). Love our friends!

Tuesday we were going to go swimming, but instead I headed up to Lynette's house. The time goes by so quickly when we are together. She printed up a bunch of vinyl lettering for me, we chatted, traded ideas, then went shopping! I always love spending time with her and her cute girl!

Tuesday night we got together with our friend's the Dunroe's. We ate a YUMMY dinner that Jess made (thanks again!) and caught up. We haven't all been together for a year and a half. It felt like no time had passed. Jess and I scored, we were friends before she got married, and fortunately for all of us our spouses get along great, independent of us! I guess that is the case with all of our friendships that have withstood the tests of distance and time. Man, I feel blessed.

Whew, sorry about the length!

Wednesday we headed home bright and early... too early! Our kids were good on the plane, particularly our second flight, when they slept!

It felt and feels so good to be home. Buffalo is home. It's good to be back.
