Flashback Friday: February 2004
Flashback Friday...
This week I've been organizing photos a bit.
This week I've been organizing photos a bit.
I ended up going back to my first digital files on this computer 2003, then to February of 2004, 11 years ago.
I chose to post about that year because it is so drastically different from this February 2015, 11 years later!
I had a 1 year old baby girl.
I was 8 months pregnant with a boy.
I had short hair... way short hair!
Matt and I were in our first year of business school at Darden.
Matt surprised me with a trip to NYC for Valentine's Day.
And he gave me my pearl ring.
Since we lived in VA it was cold, but not really relative to where we are now!
Matt had much deliberation to do as he tried to decide where we would do our summer internship.
He came to Buffalo, NY to check out this M&T Bank...
Man, I was making some interesting fashion choices... I don't feel very good going back and looking at how I looked 'back then'!
I do feel better when I look at other's photos from the same time, to see that we all had just about the same sense at that point!
FF to Feb 2015.
I have 4 kids, a girl and 3 boys.
My hair is long and I've never had it that short again!
We've decided to get away every year at this time, to escape the cold weather and endless snow. However this year we will stay here in the arctic weather.
Instead of a fancy ring M will buy me a dream house! That's a nice Vday gift! We thought it may be the fixer upper in The Maples, but turns out that isn't the dream.
M&T Bank is where we ended up! This career choice has been a blessing, the perfect choice for M, and them! He will probably retire working for this bank!
