Father's Day Celebration On Our Finished Deck
We had some friends over for Father's Day.
I was excited to show off all my hard work... refinishing the deck.
I just did quick prep, M would have been happy with nothing!
I put some balloons up, printed of some Father's Day stuff, made little favors, pulled out my paper banners.
It was cute, again, I care about that stuff, M would've been fine with nothing!
Here is how it looks all done... ready for the BBQ.
And, more from our BBQ...
The food table, (which is my yellow picnic table refinished... I posted about that HERE.) with no food on it yet!
See how I did my balloon center pieces HERE at the Pinewood Derby.
I just attached balloons to the balloon weight.
I have a bunch of paper banners. They sure are cute and handy!
This is our little 'celebration' table!
I created this printable and framed it, then printed 4 to a page and wrapped them around candy bars for all the dads.
I got this cute 'pop' printable from HERE.
All of the drinks were on the grass. I need to refinish this little sewing table still, but it was good and handy to bring outside.
AND, remember this roadside find I showed you from my front porch?
I filled it with ice and put my drinks in it!
It works great! There are little holes in the bottom so the water drains out.
I wondered how the paint would hold up with the moisture coming from the inside... it works!
I'm so glad to have this deck project done!
I love how it looks, totally wish I'd have done it sooner.
This deck, like the front porch, is a bonus of this house, something that I've appreciated.
It adds some space to our house.
It has been nice to enjoy, in fact, tonight we sat outside on our deck and had pizza.
Hello summer!
