Keeping With Tradtion...

It is now November, the month of gratitude.
I am all about posting pieces of gratitude once a day.  I was able to do it last year, let's see if I can do it again this month...

-Today I was so grateful not only for the sunshine, but the warmth that went with it.  I so needed to get out and run.  I pushed the boys and we all really enjoyed it.
Feeling that the 'shoulds' of my life aren't matching with reality, it's frustrating me a bit, so I really appreciated my run.
-Thankful for happy laughter.  I did a photo shoot this afternoon and I seriously love the mothers laugh, it brightened my day.  Love to laugh.
-Thankful to have a neighbor willing to help watch my kids.  Love my neighborhood.

Just want to add that we had a big to-do this weekend.
I seriously just posted about Q's stitches right?  Well, sure enough this weekend one of my boys joined the stitches club.  You may guess it's E, but it was O.  We had just finished watching the C kids for date night and I heard O crying, but of course, did run down the stairs... figured Molly was right there if anything WAS wrong!  He rounded the corner with blood everywhere!  It was a bit more bloody than Q's gash.  Moll swooped him up and got a paper towel as I traded off.  Poor guy.  We got him calmed down then M and I took him to the same urgent care while Molly put our kids to bed.  Lovely way to spend our Saturday night.  It took forever!!!  O was fine until they started scrubbing him.  In fact he got into that papoose just fine!  Believed every word the nice lady said about it keeping him warm and wrapping him tight.  He didn't even fight it when they strapped him in.  He was really good.  He got nervous when they put the paper cutout thing over his head.  Then he couldn't see us and then the pain started!  After that the screaming didn't stop much!  I did sing to him that calmed him once, and got him to breathe, but then she kept stitching so he was right back into his frenzy.  He kept saying 'mom I want to see you'.  His cute little bitty eye searching for me.  I'd hold up the towel and peek in at him.  Near the end he was sweating and screaming 'dad, get me out of here!'  It was awful!  He got 11 stitches.  As soon as they took the towel thing off his head he was fine.  He just wanted to see us.  He loved having a Popsicle after and has been great with showing off his stitches.
He did it by hitting his head on our couch of all places.  The ONE spot that isn't soft he found with his forehead!  Poor kid.  We get them out tomorrow.  We'll see how that goes! (photos to follow)
