A month of gratitude...
I was reading an old college friend's blog (Rebecca J) and she is doing a challenge, to post each day during the month of November, 5 things she is thankful for. Let's see if I can blog every day! I will start today.
I'm thankful for...
Friday's! That is my number 1 for today! I'm grateful for the weekends! I look forward to time together as a family.
2)This massive web that can keep me connected to old friends. I love hearing from people that have, at some point, walked in my life's path.
3)Modern medicines that make it easier for my little G to breathe.
4)My camera and the joys I get to capture w/ it.
5)Motherhood. It really teaches one so much. My oldest sister hasn't had the opportunity to be a mom. I thought about that today. It made my heart hurt for her a bit. At the end of a really hard day... or in the middle of one... those eyes that just love you, that giggle that just cracks you up, those arms that about strangle you, all make the toughest of things seem so small. It feels good to be a mother, to be loved by your children, but moreso, to love so much that nothing else matters.
