Today is Tuesday
Just when you think your house is clean and all of the babies are put down...
More mess and more babies!!!
Too bad for this one, she doesn't look too comfy!
This little one is fast asleep!
It rained again today. I had a photo shoot scheduled, we rescheduled.
Marci and I met up at the Boulevard Mall and let the kids play around on the toys. A few thoughts on this...
-My two older kids are now the children you look at and think... aren't you a little too old to be playing here? I remember giving the evil eye to the 'big kids' when these two were wee bitty things. Now we are getting the evil eye, but, like many other parents, I didn't let that phase me!!! In their defense they are pretty mild and watch out for the little kiddies, one of which is their own brother.
-It's been a while since I've been in the 'darting eye' phase. You know, the one where you try to talk to your friend, but never make eye contact because you are constantly on the look out for the little energizer bunny that is just waiting for you to NOT watch him so he can make a mad dash for the exit. I re-realized this phase today. O enjoyed climbing and crawling, getting knocked over, and trying to escape! It was great for him!
-Lastly, you would think with how much we are driven to indoor activities her in Buffalo there would 1)be more of the play places and 2)they would be a bit bigger. I say that, not because I spend a lot of time in these places, but it would just seem to make more sense.
I fed the missionaries tonight. Gotta say I'm pretty proud that I was even ready on time! M was quite impressed that all was ready by the time he got home... and I wasn't even frazzled with things left to do. The kids were a big help. Q has been loving cooking with me, as do I. It was nice to entertain. I do love it so! I enlarged our table, got out nice dishes, served from things besides pots and pans. It was quite nice.
Just another reason I love my man...
I was making dinner when he came home yesterday with a card. I didn't know why he got me a card, but of course I accepted! As I opened it and read, I was reminded that yesterday was the 13 anniversary of our first date. I love my man. I don't remember things like that, BUT I sure am glad HE does!!! We remembered our date up big cottonwood canyon with a bunch of friends. Stopping at IGA for marshmallows, Taco Time for dinner. I showed M how my silver ring could melt ice, and freeze his finger. He made me laugh, and I felt pretty cool that I made him laugh (because he's like the funniest guy ever!) We held hands on the way back to the car at the end of our date. I remember thinking that was odd because it was our first 'date', but it also felt totally comfy.
Since then we've married, moved all over, schooled, bought homes, worked, had beautiful kids, traveled, laughed together, cried together, created a whole life rich and full of happiness. Yep, love this man. We are a team, stronger always together. I'm so glad we have each other.
