Oh, the rain
Sadly our fire pit has looked like this most of the summer...
...full of water. We've been able to sit out in our back yard, with a fire burning, just a couple of times so far.
The bright side of rain would be the puddles it leaves behind. The big kids went out this week and found sluggs to play with. They made them a home in this big puddle and named four of them. Q's were Kristine and Michael Jackson. G's were Davata and Mike Dakotie. Who is Mike Dakotie? Some made up dude.
These two have grown so much. I remember clearly a few summers ago (2005)taking photos of them playing in the rain and puddles...
How time flies.
It wasn't long before O got up from his nap and wanted to play too. I started with his shoes on, but he went right for the water. Go ahead, just play, and down in the water he went.
As long as we are wet let's make the most of the puddle.
We had a great time and I got some great shots.
