Update
I updated my Photoblog. I posted some photos from a mini shoot I did.
I had a photo shoot today. It went well despite our awful weather here! Sometimes you only have one day and you just go with it! We did, and with 25 people, it went well.
I enjoy it when people come into a photo shoot dragging their heels and leave clicking them together! That was the case with this shoot. Everyone wanted to wait until summer, just didn't want to be there, gave the 'organizer' a hard time. Well, they all kept coming back and asking me to take other photos. We laughed, went quickly, and it was, dare I say... fun. That is rewarding as a photographer, as is getting great shots. I was complimented and felt satisfied as I came home and saw great pictures on my card. I'll show some soon!
Here are a few things I've created lately. It has been a long time since I've scrapped. I knocked out two LO's in two evenings. It felt good. I think it's been a while since I've just enjoyed scrapping. I was caught up in the whole 'not scrapping for me' syndrome. I hope to enjoy it again and do it for my family and our story. There is no need for anyone to approve of or enjoy my story, and how I express it, except me and my family! Funny how I lose sight of that! I have a quote on my 'gallery wall' that says : THE MERIT OF ORIGINALITY IS NOT NOVELTY; IT IS SINCERITY. That is my scrapping mantra!!!
Can I say that I miss my stitching software? It's on my old computer and we couldn't get it onto this new one. A photo just isn't the same. Oh well.
This is a 16 x 20 canvas. It was my first attempt at one. I love it and see myself working with canvas a lot!
