An ode to my boy
Little G's turn...
What a joy this little boy is in our family.
He is bright, and happy and full of laughter and happiness. He is sensitive and kind and still cries big crocodile tears.
He makes jokes and says the funniest things.
He is perceptive. We drove down the street yesterday and I noticed a man on a bike... with a motorcycle helmet on. Right as I noticed G commented on how funny that man was and asked why he wore his motorcycle helmet while riding his bike.
He loves motorcycles, cars, trucks, boats, trains, swords, guns, baseball yet will still play the role of 'prince' for his sister.
He has such a good heart. Although his sister is quick to boss and sometimes exclude him, and although she sometimes isn't all that nice, he still gives to her, protects her and wants what is best for her.
He loves to snuggle.
He is great at putting puzzles together, and I'm not talking about the baby kind!
He picks up on music so quickly. After hearing words one or two times he can sing songs to us... which is great for primary songs, not so great with songs from the radio!
He asks questions and wants to know reason.
He has loved being on his bike this year... or as he calls it, his motorcycle, and he has learned how to ride before his sister.
He says cute random things like. Hey mom, can we make a quick stop to McDonald's? I love their hash browns! A quick stop? I never say that!
There aren't many little boy friends G's age, well none in fact. He loves Marcus and Payton who are 5 & 6, and because he speaks so well he gets along great with them.
He is small for his age, he looks like he's 2, but we are praying he'll grow!
Our family is blessed and balanced with our little G. I love him. He is such a breath of fresh air!
