Sending Christmas Cards

There is this song that they probably still play in UT... it's the 12 days of Christmas in the version of all the pain that comes from the holiday.

One of them is 'sending Christmas Cards'.

AMEN!

I love getting them, but what a headache getting them out!

I HAVE been very religious about sending them. I'd start in October and make my cards, get our photos done and have them out the door by the first week in December.

Then, last year I decided to bag the whole thing and send an email!

This year I decided on a happy medium, I'd order our photocards, to get most of the work done.

They look good, but, we forgot about the LEAST fun part of the process... the addresses!

I just sat down and opened my file of Christmas Labels. I have to change EVERY SINGLE ONE!!! At least the return address. Many of the sender addresses have changed as well. Blahhhh.

So, now the task of contacting people, asking them for and updated address and the frustration of crossing them off my list because I no longer know if they are there! I don't like crossing people off my list! I want to stay in contact with everyone. SAD.

So, bah-humbug!

BUUUUUUUUT, lest you worry that I'm not full of the Christmas Spirit, despite my bad attitude, I did finish my Christmas gifts today and I'm feeling quite merry about those! Plus I'm going Christmas shopping tonight!
