Yesterday I cleaned my house, had powerless friends over for dinner and managed to decorate for fall! Priorities, I know!
Today we began our cleanup. I need to upload my photos. Actually I need to take a pict of our pile 'o trees first! All I have now are snow picts. Hey, for the lowdown of the storm, my friend
Kristen kept a pretty good record. Check it out!
Anyhoo. Matt was a chainsaw madman and we got busy! I left him to take the kids to play group... again, priorities... and when I came back he was across the street. He had spent the time helping our older neighbors with their trees. Isn't he sweet? They actually rewarded him/us with chocolates (which are way too good, I can't stop eating them) and a gift card to Lowe's. Sometimes it pays to serve! They really were grateful and we are happy to serve.
So back to life.
I need to note that little G is obsessed with dental floss and chapstick right now! Odd? Hmm. He carries them around the house in groups. The two floss together or the three chappy's together. I don't know why he is so amused by them. Whatever! He even cares to sleep with them every now and then! Silly boy!
Q's favorite game to play right now is 'guess what I am'. She's so good at it! She can usually guess what animal or princess you are with just a couple of hints. She also gives great clues for you to guess what she is.

I have to teach preschool tomorrow.
I still need to edit photos from a photoshoot, that's tough to do w/o power. Fortunately the family was affected by the storm too. I think they'll understand.
