Miracles do happen

So last night I made lasagna for dinner.
And any mother knows that sentence usually turns into a paragraph... "and I made PB&J for G, and I made a burrito for Q".
I keep wondering at what point we all sit down and eat dinner... one and the same meal!
Well, folks, last night it happened.
My boy, who eats PB&J, chips, cereal bars, toast and um, ya, that's about it, ate lasagna.
When I witnessed this occurrence I was silent... for a moment... then, let that positive reinforcement fall like rain!!!
Man, that felt good!
And today, he asked for a banana!
My boy may not be a runt forever!
We are pleased!

I'll be back soon. I've gotta go watch the finale of "So You Think You Can Dance". I was rooting for Allsion, but since she's gone, ah, who am I kidding? I don't care who wins.

Okay, really, I have a strong opinion, it goes as follows:

Benji: Is SUCH an entertainer. He reaches the crowd and makes everything enjoyable to watch. Can I see him performing in Celine Dion's show? No.

Travis: Would be perfect, for the prize they are offering. He is a wonderful dancer, great guy, but for whatever reason, not my favorite.

Donelle: I really think she got as far as she did riding on Benji's coat tails. I don't think she's a real stand out in any area of dance, hip hop included. I also don't think she would do well with the prize offered.

Heidi: Cute, and yes, she's grown a lot, but still technically I don't think she'd fit the prize. I don't think she has the personality to win over Benji, but I think she's close.

SOOOOO. I think if they are looking for America's 'favorite' dancer they need to make a different prize that would compliment or be reasonable for ANY winner, whatever their strong suit is. Can you see why I'm torn?
