Multi-tasking
Women in general are good at multi-tasking. I am no exception! In fact I pride myself on being quite a good multi-tasker!
Today I've had a combination of things going on: organizing and rearranging closets while rearranging and organizing my scrap room (combined with clearing it out), playing with my kids while reading my old journals, and the trickiest, vacuuming while feeding my kids! Are you impressed? You ought to be!
I have completed my circle journal beginnings. I'll post that tomorrow hopefully. My journal is "Where Are You Now?" I figure these women that I chat with online will have the easiest time scrapping about themselves and I'd like to have a record of the women I do chat with online. I think it will be interesting to see how my life changes by the time the journal makes it back to me.
I forgot to mention that Matt has been recruited. He recently (right before my trip) was asked to interview for two different positions in two different departments. Managers that he has had contact with who want him to work for them. Although he won't make any moves at this point it is quite flattering. He is the MAN!!!
Matt and I had a conversation, regarding our courtship, while on our date Saturday night. The conversation led me to my old journals, to see what really happened! I started reading yesterday and was quite intrigued! It's like some novel! I can hardly remember that time in my life! When he got home we started reading my journal together, then after putting the kids to bed, read his perspective. Mostly long distance relationships suck! It was tough for us to be so far from each other, when we clearly had such strong feelings for each other. It was fun to look back, with a completely different perspective now, and see how we've grown, what we've admired, how we are the same and how we have changed. One thing is for sure, we both feel blessed to have each other.
Garrison's favorite song right now is "Do As I'm Doing" and he loves to roll his hands! He is a hoot! He is so bright!
He is starting to go potty on the toity. He thinks it's pretty cool.
He loves going out to dig in the dirt. He is ruthless with the bugs! He loves to pick them up and smash them! It's quite gross, poor things!
He is constantly telling us to watch him do a trick. Cute right? Not so much! It would be if his tricks were interesting... and if he didn't do it 25 times in a row!
Quinlyn loves playing with her friends. She loves Marcus Chamberlain! They like to sit together in Primary on Sundays. I sit in the back so I can watch them! She is very affectionate and although he doesn't seem to like it, he deals pretty well!
She likes to play make believe with her dolls. Sometimes I think she's talking to me when I hear "mom... blah, blah, blah", but it's just her playing.
She loves to dig in the dirt too. She has been great about taking care of her flowers outside.
Yesterday she got something in her eye. It puffed up real good. I was concerned, but it seem to be better, just a little red now. We go to the doctor on Thursday. I'll have them check it out then.
Talk about multi-tasking... right now I'm playing referee for my kids! In this case the "multi" part of this isn't working! Have a good day!
