(something exciting written here)
*Title-shmitle, I can't think of anything!
*I cut Q's hair yesterday. I love it cut just longer than her shoulders, it does the cutest little flippy.
*I hope Chris wins American Idol... love him... he's so cool! I really like Elliott too.
*We bought drapes for the family room. I put them up yesterday. They look really good!
*It's good to talk to my mom on the phone.
*I talked to my oldest sister on the phone today. She's a good egg.
*Goodbye to the pink pants! Q has this pair of pants she loves... and of course I hate! If they are clean, those are the pants she chooses to wear. "I love pink mom!" They are worn and almost too short. I decided today, that today would be the last day I allowed them to live. Conveniently enough, after play group I noticed a new hole in the knee. Bye bye pink pants! I'll take a picture for my girl so she can tell me I was right when she gets older!!!
*There are few things about this house that won't change. One thing I'll leave and feel happy about are the little bunch of tulips outside.
Look at the cool edge on that tulip...
From 'a jar full of memories'... this is the first question I pulled.
Would you choose differently, if you could choose your occupation? How?
The definition of 'occupation' is: the principal business of one's life. I guess then mine would be being a mother. I did choose this 'occupation'. Would I choose anything different if I could? Never. I love being at home, I love being with my kids, I treasure that I am able to. I have no desire to go out into the workforce and am content, as tough as it is, doing just this job!
Back when I was in the workforce, before children, the answer to this question would have been a resounding YES! Instead of working for a large HMO, which was still a great job, I would've rather done anything to get me out of that building and away from an office!
Well, that was easy enough!
