A new year...
Just sitting here, listening to Coldplay, enjoying some Swedish fish.
I feel sad for and angry at crazy people that hurt the ones I love. I wish I understood.
I am thinking about goals for the new year. I like the idea of intentions rather than goals. I like the track I've been on and want to stay on it.
Speaking of that. I jumped off the running bandwagon all of last week. I feel gross. I went this morning and LOVED it. It really lifts me. I do have some recovery work to do on the bod! I indulged a bit too much over the holidays! Whew! Glad vacation is over and we are all back on track.
I'm excited for another year, not that much has changed in the last 72 hours! This year though, we have big things, exciting things, to look forward to. Those things help me keep my head up, looking forward. That helps especially when I'm looking down.
I'll get back with my official intentions, but I have started one and will share. I want to read poetry every day. I got Matt two of the classics for Christmas. Emily Dickinson and Robert Frost. I want to read them both. A bit each day. It's gonna be good.
