A new project and a layout

So first here is a layout that I finished last night.

Let me give an explanation... the "effers" are a small group of ladies that scrap. They post dares each Friday to challenge whoever wants to be challenged. I've been participating since dare #1 and I'm loving the pages that I'm turning out. I've discovered a new side for myself. I still don't know that I have a "style", I'm all over the place, but it sure has been fun participating in these "dares". This one is what would you wish for if you had one wish.

JOURNALING: I have everything I need and too much stuff I want! I am truly blessed. If I had a wish I'd have to spend it on simple, everyday, annoyances that I really could do without. I wouldn't ask for more time, I'd probably waste it. Money, same story, I don't need it. If I ask for a life without heartache, pain and trial I'd be wishing away growth. So, my wish sounds silly, but I really could do without stink! Q's stinky feet after being in leather sandals, two stinky diaper butts, stinky gas from all, stinky exhaust (especially when I'm running), stinky smell of fish, armpits, anyone who's been outside in the sun, this house! I just wish my little sniffer could diffuse and get rid of the yucky stink so I wouldn't have to smell it anymore.

Next up... tonight I'm starting a little project... two actually. I'm going to sew Q two little dresses. I went and looked for a pattern and fabric on Monday and had a great time! Our church is giving some instruction and help for those who want to learn to sew! I would totally love to be able to use my sewing machine for something besides scrappin!!! Backwards, huh? I have made a Christmas wall quilt. That is the extent of my sewing experience. Here is a little photo.

Lastly, I ordered new beads and they arrived today! Yahoo! I'm excited to make some jewelry.

Hope you all have a great day!
