What a great day! What can I say? I am SO proud of you Matt. Darden is one of the top 10 MBA programs in the nation, and one of the most rigerous of those top 10. I am proud of you for trying, getting in, working hard, and completing your goal. I am proud of you for completing this goal for you... and for our family. YAAAHOOOO! We are done! It has been a long, hard, but good road! We are so excited to get on our new one!!!
We dropped Matt off in the morning at the Rotunda for UVA's graduation for all of the schools. After that, the kids and I weren't at that one, the grads went to each of their schools for a different ceremony. We met Matt at Darden. Well, I can't really say met. It was crazy getting the kids there and I found out that my jog stroller has flat tires! I realized that after we were out of the parking garage! I pushed the kids out of the garage, up the hill, to the elevator, through the halls and out the doors to the courtyard with flat tires! It was the only form of transportation I brought for them! I was sweating!
We sat in the very back on the grass so the kids could play and not bother people. They were so good and enjoyed playing in the sunshine. They both have pink cheeks tonight! The back bit for pictures. My camera isn't so hot! But we got some still. It was the prime spot to see the grads walk though. They came in from the back of the courtyard. It was a proud moment and I cried! I snapped out of it when I realized Matt still had the camera... that is why I don't have a photo of him and that first walk! We waved and blew kisses though, and I got the camera!
Such a great moment to hear daddy's name being called! I told Q to listen for his name! (distraction so I could get a pict) She cheered for her dad! "he did it!" Yes, we are all so proud of you Matt. Thank you. We love you.
Thanks to family for support. Thanks to my family for the $$$. Very thoughtful! You all rule! Thanks to Bob for being there to see his son today. I'm sure you're proud.
This was a good day!
