Summer Dresses - Shift, Chambray and Scuba
How is summer so far where you are? Is it practically over? It depends on where you live I suppose. Ours is just beginning. Already I'm feeling like we have GOT to get into some camps or clubs! This summer is different for us, as far as where our vacation fits into it. We have some adjusting to do.
I've mentioned a time or two that I love dresses in the summer time. In fact you may see me in a skirt or dress more than you will shorts.
Here are some recent looks. All of them are dresses and skirts!
I love the colors of this scuba dress, don't you? I got it last year, I think. Still love it. This ruffle cardigan came from Charlotte Russe several years ago. Do you have items in your closet that have survived the years? Last, these fuscua sandals are the perfect match for this dress!

Next up is this adorable seersucker shift dress from TJMaxx. I love the fringe detail on it. It is lightweight! I love seersucker with coral. One of my favorite combos. I have seersucker shorts and I wear them with coral! These coral wedges came from Old Navy, several years ago. I added a long necklace, recent Target purchase, to finish off my summer look.

The puffy sleeves are the interest in this otherwise simple black dress. I added some yellow via earrings and sandals. Easy!

This year I have tried two items now that have this paper bag top. I'm a fan! I think it's cute! This paper bag skirt came from Target, along with the sandals. It has a suede look to it. I'm a fan of the pockets too, of course!!! It can be dressed up or down. I chose to dress it down on this particular day, with an easy gray t-shirt.

Last look here is this sweet, fitted floral dress. It came from Down East Basics and it isn't available anymore. Not even sure I could find a duplicate for it. It fits perfectly! They have a bunch of great dresses, linked here.
