Crushed Velvet Pleated Skirt

Happy Sunday to you all!

I have hope that someday spring will be here!  It is what keeps us going through the winter that leaves for a minute, then returns.

This look is a good winter/spring transition look.  It is soft for spring, but has a little weight to it for the chill that is March.

I got this pink velvet pleated skirt at Target.  It was part of my Target haul from several weeks ago.  I styled it with this lightweight sweater.  It's several years old.  I got it at Down East.  It has a slight silver shimmer to it.  And these shoes!  I love them, that rushing is darling!  This was the last time I wore them :(.  They broke!  So, so sad to see them go.  I've had them for a long time though.  I had to take a moment of silence as I threw them into the trash!!!

Have you added velvet to your wardrobe?  I went on a bit of a velvet bender!  I went from having none of it to having several different items within just a few weeks!  Seriously, I have a shirt, a skirt, a dress, a hat, shoes!!!  I guess I'm current if nothing else!  It is fun to try something new.  I'm all about changing it up.
