I get it...

Oh the photograph.  What a miraculous invention!  I'm so serious!
For one like me who's memory is fleeting, I so appreciate an image.  I rarely remember something unless there is a story written or an image to go along with it!
I love photography as an art form.  I love it as a hobby.  I love it as a way to meet and connect with people.  I love it most for what it captures, moments that quickly pass us by.  For most of our lives we are looking back.  What a treasure it is to have a moment recorded, to help us relive these moments and times and feelings we've had.  These shape who we are.  That photograph is priceless.

We live in a digital age!  Gone are the days of film, almost completely.
That was a time when you HAD to print your pictures to see them!
Gone!
We are in a time of digital!  We can see right away!  Having also means sharing.  It is a way for us to share with each other, to connect, to remember, to keep up.  There are many means of sharing and that is what we are all about right now.
Believe me... I get it!
This is why I support people having their images, in digital form.
I don't have to give negatives away, never to see them again.  I can copy and give images so we both can have them!

BUUUUUT, I am all about printing!
Get these images up on your walls!  Don't underestimate the power of an image... of your family together, of your wedding day, your love for each other, of your baby so small.  Prints are important.

I scrapbook occasionally, I used to do it a lot more!  I used to print a lot more than I do now even myself!  I have access to fabulous printers, I have a wonderful one at home and I have to remind myself to print them!!!

I have four kids at home and they love to see images of themselves.  They will sit and flip through scrapbooks and blog books I've printed and it grounds them.  They see their story.  I put photos up of them all over the house.  It validates them as people.  It makes them feel important.  I am all about printing!

This is why I offer what I do.  I feel it's important to get you images up on your walls.  I will help you if you want!

I am recently recommitted to these wonderful photo books.  If you don't want 40 pictures up on your wall from our shoot, put them in a book, all in one place, easily accessible, to flip through and smile at whenever you want!  They will get looked at there.  Do they get looked at on your computer tucked away in a file?  I don't know, mine don't seem to!

Think about it.  Think about your images.  How can you make the most of them?  How can you enjoy them?  These are your moments, your memories.  What will you do with them?
