This was from fall.

It makes me miss the warm sun, the beautiful colors...

Meet the Reynolds family.

They are country folk, although not backwoods country, live off the land country!  Is there a difference?  To me there is!

The first time I went to visit this family, I felt like I was leaving the supermarket!

They sent me home with fresh lettuce, tomatoes, corn stalks and gourds!

They love to farm, they love the land... it's amazing to me!

I have great respect for self sufficiency, for a more simple life, for that part of clean living... providing for yourself.

It was a natural fit to photograph this family at a barn!

They got permission and we had a great time walking around this property taking pictures!  It was beautiful!

Doesn't it just make you want to move out of the burbs?

There is a part of me that really does long for this... for space, quiet, few distractions, horses, just our family...

We lived out in the country when we lived in VA, and I loved it, minus the mice!
