Amherst/Cheektowaga Photographer: Family Shoot

What a great family.  I had fun with these ladies and this frustrated man!!!
No man enjoys family photos, I've come to respect and accept that, but this man was very vocal about it!!!  Mostly he teased, but I'm sure glad I wasn't the one to talk him into the photos, and owing him big after they were done!!!

The consolation, for the great paint they go through, is an image that will echo through time.  The one of his girls smooching him big, the one where his girlfriend laughs at him, with her eyes sparkling, the one where he shows his true feelings, "there is no way I'm jumping..."  A photo tells so much about who we are at a certain point in our lives.  It may be painful, but it's worth it!!!

I know these two older girls from the dance studio. I don't know them well, but I see them. I've watched them grow over these past couple of years, from quite the distance mind you, but can still see. They are beautiful young ladies. Right as we got started, the two youngest walked with me and held my hands, it was as if we connected right away, like we were family...

I've been thinking a lot about 'family' and how that experience has so much to do with shaping who we will become.  We all have a different story, but I'm confident that what we experience can be learned from, good or bad, and benefit who we become.  It was a pleasure working with this group!  They were fun, carefree, easygoing and a great 'family' to be with.
