You would think when I photograph good friends I could relax... um no!  It is actually a little worse from beginning to end.  Not that my other clients don't matter... but people you see all of the time, really, you want to do well for!  Sometimes I question if good friends really mean what they say, or if they feel obligated to love their photos!!!  I guess any paying customer comes to you because they want what you have right?

Well, we had been trying to get this shoot scheduled and kept running into rain!  Our shoot day we tried to get ahead of the rain... but didn't!  My good friend is of course a die hard, that and she had gone to all of the effort to get kids napped, bathed and all ready, and since it was a weekday dad took time off to get home early... WE'RE DOING THE SHOOT!!!!

We went to the park and shot in the rain!  We did more of a mini shoot, but did it!  We took refuge under a gazebo, I ran out to set up, we practiced our pose, all ran out, shot, all ran back.  I edited out the raindrops and whala, you have a great family photo!  Whew!  Did I need the extra pressure?  No.  But it all worked out and the Lewis' are happy with their photos.

Start with this center photo... what are they looking at so intently? Mom and dad who tell stories... with puppets. Could they be the best parents ever? The kids love it... I love these photos...
