Cactus Thank You Tags
Looking for a quick and easy way to say 'Thank You'? These free printable cactus thank you tags are perfect! Print them off, attach them to a goodie bag and you are all set!
My girlfriend came into town last week. It was so fun having her and her kiddos here! One of my local friends lent me her high chair for the week. It was so nice of her. She is always happy to give and help where she can.
I wanted to thank her. Of course I could've just said 'thank you' as I returned her high chair, but why not go just a little further? It feels good to be thought of, and thanked, and you know what? It doesn't take too much effort to give that to people.
I made this cute little gift bag of caramels to thank my friend for helping me out. It was fast and easy, but still meaningful.
Here is what you will need:
A thank you tag: I made this tag using a cute thank you card. I cut the card down to the size that I wanted to make a tag. Sometimes a longer note is necessary, this is when a card is good. The tag is a great way to say thank you without feeling like you have to write a big long letter!
A treat bag: This one is 4x6 in size. I have a bunch that are Recollections brand from Michaels. Here are some cute polka dot ones from Amazon. Here are some chevron ones from Amazon.
A special treat: I love to pick up specialty treats that I see in TJMaxx and Home Goods. I keep those on hand for things like this. I also keep a supply of soaps and lotions to give away too.
Bakers twine or ribbon: This can be found at the craft store, or I've seen large spools at places like Tuesday Morning.
For this project I took a cute thank you card that I had, and turned it into a thank you tag.
To do that simply tear or cut the card at the folded seam. Then trim it down to the preferred size. Mine is about 2x3. You want to be able to see the cute bag underneath the tag when it is attached.
Next fill your treat bag with your treat. Fold the top over. Place the tag where you want it and punch through both the tag and the bag.
I punch first, then write my note, so I don't accidentally punch over my words.
The last step is threading the twine and tying a bow.
There you have it! A quick and easy way to say thank you! I made a couple extra, just so they are ready when I need them.
Now, I realize you are thinking that cactus card is the cutest thing, and you wish you had some of those for your own thank you gifts!
Lucky for you I am already all over that! I designed my own cactus thank you tags, just for you! You can download this free printable here.
This is what it looks like. Just print it on white cardstock and cut them to size.
