Dream House Checklist... Side Entry (check)... Decorated For Fall
Something I adore about this house, something that makes it my dream house, are the two separate entrances.
The front door is grand and lovely.
The back, or side is functional, right into our mud room, but it is also pretty!
I love that!
There is also a door into the garage, pure function! We use them all.
I decorated the back entrance for fall and the front is Halloween.
Have I said lately how much I love my home? I don't think I have. It is amazing! I still drive up to it and can't believe it's mine!
Matt has claimed the door, for his dry cleaning.
I'm working around that! I have a wreath on the inside of the door and wreaths on the two side windows.
See how flexible and workable I am! It doesn't always have to be my way!
I finally put up this vinyl 'welcome'. It looks great on this door.
Next to the planters, with mums, I have pumpkins and gourds, along with lanters filled with pincones and leaves.
I have many wreaths, but no two are the same.
I got to create new wreaths for the side windows.
I love the look of these grapevine wreaths that are orderly and neat.
I started with those (Joanns) and layered from there.
There is a layer of burlap with lace, two ready made sprigs, then bows I made.
The wreaths are hanging with outdoor command strips.
These are the bomb! Since my doors are fancy, or have coverings over them, I have been using these to hang wreaths. So far, so good.
Here is a last look at the side entrance. Oh and after these photos I traded out the floor mat to one of a fall variety!
Do you like lanterns outside? How do you feel about non-candle decor in them?
