Spring Colors 2015 and Favorite Looks From Spring's Past
Do you just wear any color you want at any time of the year?
I don't follow 'trends' tooo much, but I for sure do like to switch out my closet and save certain colors and shades for spring/summer, then fall/winter.
I think that is pretty typical.
Generally you are safe with pastels for spring and rich, deep colors for fall.
You can see that over the past few years the authority for color reporting, Pantone, has been pretty consistent. The colors are mostly the same, just adjusted slightly right?
This year there is one shift though, no purple or violet at all! That color has been trending the past couple of years.
In it's place is that cinnamon color, that almost looks like it belongs in a fall pallet.
I think it works as a deep rose color for spring. I have worn this shade for spring.
As well, this teal blue or 'scuba blue' as it's called is normally a summer color.
I thought it would be fun to look back at some of my favorite spring looks today...
Let's see how much of what I've worn would be just fine again this year! Although I don't love to wear the same thing twice! :)
These last two were actually winter and fall, but could totally come into spring... just need to adjust the mustard to a different yellow for spring.
What about you? Do you dress for the season? Do you rotate through your colors?
