Rockin' Plaid and Dreaming of My Closet
I am so ready for spring! These last couple of days have been warmer, and sunny and it has pumped some much needed life, and motivation into me.
Mind you it is still 30 - 40 degrees, but compared to our below freezing weather, it feels like beach weather!
I am ready to pack up my winter wear and bust out the spring attire.
I'm suuper excited to pack it up this year because I know I'm going to unpack it and put it into my new room-size closet!
No more storing seasons in the basement, no more browsing through the kids closets for my stuff, no more digging through bins to find my shoes... it is the moment in my life I have been waiting for!!!
All of my stuff, in one place. I expect it to be a very satisfying experience!!
Here is a glimpse of my current shoe situation...
I have bins winter and fall to house all of the boots. Spring and summer they go into the basement and all my sandals come up, which are easier to store.
So I have 3 bins of boots, booties, heels. I have a drawer for shoes, and I store shoes in a bin that slides under my bed.
Good thing about this storage is that my shoes don't get dusty.
Bad thing about it is if the shoes I want to wear are at the bottom... all the shoes have to come out... and if I'm in a hurry, there is a big mess left on my floor!!!

Last year I tried it with a poncho, which was alright, but definitely like how I wore it this year better.!
Overall, yep, I like it! I probably won't repeat it, because... what fun would that be, but it's a good one! Which do you like better?
