Share The Gift
Have you seen this yet?
I love this message, as I myself have struggled a bit finding my own spirit of Christmas this year.
I am happy to show it on my blog. I believe in 'the gift', I believe in my Savior.
I am happy to be part of #sharethegift!
This year our primary gave each child a copy of The Friend magazine to share with one of their friends. This December issue in particular has wonderful, uplifting, faith promoting stories and activities for kids of a younger age. I'm so proud of my kids who were excited and shared right away. This is how we #sharethegift.
O was first. Took his magazine the very next day to a friend at school. He asked his friend if he goes to church, his friend said no. O said that he does and wanted his friend to have the magazine!
E decided he actually wanted to give his to his teacher at school. We do love her! He told me that she said 'thank you' to him.
Q gave hers to her friend Sarah. She was excited to share it with her little sister!
G was a little less excited to share his. It doesn't seem so cool, you know? I told him he may be surprised, that his friends might just like it... after all he does!
I love that despite the world around them trying to take Christ out of everything, they are still glad to share Him...
