Tomorrow my G turns 10 and my E turns 5!
Yes, two boys with the same birthday.
Needless to say I've been deep in party and birthday prep!
M and O will have birthdays in a couple of weeks, so I try to get stuff ready there too, otherwise it comes too fast.
This is just my 'celebrate all of my boys' time, every year!
On top of that I finished editing a recent boudoir shoot, so editing too.
I'll probably only put up one image for that, on my PHOTOBLOG...
I don't advertise this type of shoot for myself... still trying to decide if this is something I want to be branded with... I have many thoughts on the subject...
Regardless, we had a great time, it was super successful.
Possibly more thoughts on this in the future!

For today I'm going to tell you about my recent experience with Sammy Dress.
Have you heard of them? I'm sure you've seen them. And are you shocked at their crazy low pricing?
I was contacted to try some clothing for review.
I happily accepted as I've seen, and even put things on my wish list (mostly shoes) from this store, but have never actually ordered anything!
I was super excited to peruse through clothing to pick what I wanted...
Free shopping? Who wouldn't love that?
I chose this darling chevron top (which is all of $6-ish...)
and this statement necklace (which is also around $6)

Now let's talk about the experience.
Let's be honest, the reason I've never hit 'buy now' while looking through the site is because I'm nervous right?
This company is in China, and for those of us in the US, the unknown is a little scary!
I've actually bought much from China! I am a crafter and started buying wholesale a couple of years ago.
My first purchase was scary and I wondered if my stuff would actually make it to me!
It did, it took a long time, but it came.
As time has gone on, I have seen much attention paid to shipping, at least with my experience.
I have seen the wait time for my item go from maybe a month to just 10-14 days, sometimes faster, depending on the company I order from.
I tell you this to assure you I have had more than one experience ordering overseas...
But still I hesitated with clothing!
The other place I hesitated was sizing...
As I have looked through this site and put items away I look at the sizing and feel a little lost.
I'm going to make a generalization here and say the sizing here in the US is a little different than in China! We are just larger!!! These models have no fat on them and their bones are just tiny!!! I didn't see one photo of anyone that looked my size!! :)
This is what I found with the top I ordered, there is only one size available... and it's small!
I presumed this, but went for it anyway.
It is a little snug for me and I'm a 2-4 size.
This is the only clothing item I've bought, but I'm gonna say if you buy from here it may be best to size generously!
As far as quality, totally happy! It is a very cute shirt, it hangs great, fabric is fabulous, it's well made, everything you'd expect it to be!
I'm a realist in the matter that if you look at the tags of your clothing the vast majority of it is made outside of the US!
The necklace had a little issue, a couple of the jump rings were detached.
Again, this doesn't bug me, just a tightening here and there and I was good to go.
I have seen daily deals with necklaces like this on fire right now... guess what... they are coming from China, and they are great! I'm totally happy with my items!
How long did they take to arrive? I think around 10-ish days.
My next undertaking will be shoes... just hop over there and look through the shoes!
Be sure to have a napkin around as you will be drooling puddles on your keyboard!
