What I'm Wearing - Inspired By Linkup } Flower Pants
Welcome again to the Inspire Me link up. Where I take something you've linked and draw inspiration from it, to create a look of my own. I hope those of you that feel challenged getting dressed, as well as those of you that create fabulous looks, find this inspirational.
This week I chose Lindsay's look from Thrift and Shout
I recently bought some floral leggings. I wanted to try them, have seen them around.
I thought it would be easy to style them... but I struggled.
I tried them with a chambray shirt, because chambray makes just about everything look good, but the shirt isn't that long. AND, since these are leggings - not pants - I wanted something to cover my buttocks! I always cringe a little when I see straight leggings worn... of course if you have nothing that jiggles, buns of steal, by all means, who am I to talk? There is a difference between leggings and jeans, and it feels like spanks! Can I get an AMEN!!!
Anyway, chambray didn't cover the buttocks... I wanted that! This one doesn't even do it enough for me, but much longer would look silly with the length of the jacket... and it was more than the other shirt!
I tried this white shirt with a green polka dot cardi... it was ehhh.
Then I saw Lindsay's look... duh, denim! I put this polka dot denim jacket over my white shirt... and we have a winner!

I saw many patterned bottoms this week... It gave me courage to wear these statement pants...
