Special Fall Sunday
Happy Sunday to you!
I'm sure you know by now that I'm a Mormon...
Sunday's are our Sabbath day. We go to church, we dress up. We try to make this day a different day. We don't play with friends, we don't watch TV or play the WII, we try to choose different activities, to make this day different from all of the rest.
Today in particular is a special day for us... no church!
Instead we stay home and listen to a general broadcast that is given to ALL members of the church WORLDWIDE... this conference is translated into every language and accessible to all. Amazing!
In the history of this restored gospel the saints have met together biannually to hear the words of the apostles and the Prophet. It is uplifting, revelatory, oozing with love and full of guidance for the things we face today...
I invite you to listen! There have already been several sessions. Last weekend was the special women's conference, and yesterday was the first session along with a special session for the men.
Today there will be two more.
This is for everyone, any faith, any believer... I'd love to know what you think/feel about it.
This morning I made this... so good! It tastes like fall. I add chocolate chips because I like it that way! Happy Sunday!
