CTR ring giveaway
As you know I'm a Mormon.
There is this song that is part of our repertoire, that is sung often, by the children and adults alike.
It's called Choose the Right.
1. Choose the right when a choice is placed before you.
In the right the Holy Spirit guides;
And its light is forever shining o’er you,
When in the right your heart confides.
In the right the Holy Spirit guides;
And its light is forever shining o’er you,
When in the right your heart confides.
[Chorus]
Choose the right! Choose the right!
Let wisdom mark the way before.
In its light, choose the right!
And God will bless you evermore.
Choose the right! Choose the right!
Let wisdom mark the way before.
In its light, choose the right!
And God will bless you evermore.
2. Choose the right! Let no spirit of digression
Overcome you in the evil hour.
There’s the right and the wrong to ev’ry question;
Be safe thru inspiration’s pow’r.
Overcome you in the evil hour.
There’s the right and the wrong to ev’ry question;
Be safe thru inspiration’s pow’r.
3. Choose the right! There is peace in righteous
doing.
Choose the right! There’s safety for the soul.
Choose the right in all labors you’re pursuing;
Let God and heaven be your goal.
Choose the right! There’s safety for the soul.
Choose the right in all labors you’re pursuing;
Let God and heaven be your goal.
Text: Joseph L. Townsend, 1849–1942
So, from a very young age we learn that CTR stands for choose the right, and it's often seen inside a shield, a sign that safety comes through choosing the right.
There is all sorts of paraphernalia out there with these three letters on it, to stand as a reminder.
I'm so excited to be offering CTR rings in my store. These rings are made of tungsten... if you don't know about this amazing metal, you should read about it! It's hard, durable, scratch resistant, and in many cases comes in black, which is a pretty cool option to wear around.
These are the styles I am offering in my store...
Some are obviously manly and some are delicate and sweet. Some could go either way.
For the next week you can enter to win these two rings... one per winner...
If you don't want to wait go ahead and order here at my store... CCMakesStuff. They are pretty fabulous!
Obviously anyone can enter to win... this isn't limited to 'Mormons'... I simply wanted to explain it's significance. Certainly we all can use the same reminder, over and again! Good luck!
