Monday, Monday

Today is Mundane, oh I mean Monday!!!

This morning I watched home videos with the little boys.  We laughed at them as babies!  My heart was joyful!  I love my babies!

I jumped my neighbor... should rephrase, because I didn't hurt her, nor did anything inappropriate happen between us!  Her car wouldn't start and she was heading to an interview, nice!  E and I drove down and jumped her!  Since I was still in my PJ's I decided to get dressed!  I like to avoid being out and about in my jammies!

Monday means laundry!  I can't complain, I usually don't have to actually wash any, I just fold!  Husband does the wash on Sunday while the rest of us go to church!  If you choose not to come I'll put you to work!  It sounds like he's a teenager right?  Kidding, he does it of his own free will...  it's so helpful!

I fold, big kids put their own away.  I'm now teaching the little's to put theirs away, they have the most!  It will be nice when I just have to fold!  Now that is a real family/team effort!

Speaking of laundry, tell me which sock you think belongs to toddler and which belongs to big boy...

I'll tell you it's probably the direct opposite of what you'd guess.
Looks like one has severely lost it's stretch and the other has turbo stretch, because neither looks like they should fit their prospective child!

I'm liking this song today, don't know why.

As I swept today I wondered how much food actually makes it into the mouths of my children!  Really!

It's been a rainy and windy day today.  I was supposed to go in for recess duty, but, they stayed inside today.  The sun did peek out a couple of times.  You notice and appreciate when most of the day it's cloudy.

We had soup for dinner today, love fall.

Got the recipe from here.  I changed it a bit.  I didn't have zucchini.  I used onion, carrot, black beans and corn.  We really enjoyed it.  It's a keeper!

During dinner Q asked us questions from these conversation cards.  She asked E what he wanted to be when he grows up and his answer was, 'a parent'.  My question was what would I do with a million dollars.  Well, I'd buy a new house!  I asked G the same question and he said he'd spend 1/4 of it on Pokemon, then he'd buy Star Craft 2.  Then if he had any money left over, I assured him he would, he'd buy a house.  O was asked favorite hobby and animal.  He answered play Super Mario and Zebra.

Tonight I may actually go to dance.  G is heading to bed early, tomorrow he has intermurals at school, he's stoked.
