To life again...
I was looking for a photo of my infamous Halloween Wreath and found this post from last year... it was a really good one!
Very fun project! At the beginning of the year I volunteered to make a basket to auction for our Fall Fun Night.
I chose a Halloween theme basket, and after getting some donations made this fabulous basket!
I filled it with fun foods, baking goods, glow sticks, crafts, and a few handmade items... which I will feature here...
First I found this mirror deeply discounted because it's broken, well, I can work around such things, and picked it up with the idea to make some sort of Halloween wreath out of it.
Here is a bit of the process: mirror, covered in web, attached some sparkly leaves, tied and glued organza and tulle material, added giant spider and walaa, Halloween wreath. It was hard to give it away! I love it so!
Next I made this little hanging out of wood and vinyl. I was hoping to have some of these done to sell this season, but will for next!
Last I made a cute headband to add to the basket. I included a sparkly leave and tulle to these fabric rosettes. I made 2 total... want one?
To finish I wrapped the basket in organza and tulle. I'm not going to lie, it looked super cute! It sold for a nice amount and I'm very happy to have helped raise funds for our school!
