Monday 5/21
Was going to get up and cycle this morning, couldn't! Went to bed way too late!
We all slept in, so glad we still made the bus, thank heaven for a sub driver!
Tried running on my leg today. It hurt a bit, but doesn't seem to be swelling this evening. I'm determined to run on it soon, can't go much longer w/o running on it. Will try to take it slow and build up/ wait until pain subsides. Will split running w/ cycling.
Got all the laundry folded and put away today.
Let the boys do play dough outside today.
O has been into cleaning his room. I love it! He wants to be like the big kids and will clean his room! I came in today and he had three potato heads lined up in front of a drawing. It was a treasure map he had drawn for them. Cute! O, Q and he have been playing w/ the potato heads yesterday and today.
Got some good study time in today, sitting in the sun.
Worked on hair flowers.
Q played w/ Bella today and I helped them make hair bows.
Q had her third grade choral concert tonight. Man it is hot in that school! Thank heavens it didn't last long! We went for ice cream after. It was delightful and I'm glad we could all support her. Steph took my dance class and M came home for it. She doesn't like to be in front of people, doesn't matter if she is one in 60, it makes her nervous! I'm very proud of her!
We decided on two summer art classes for her. She is doing acrylic paint and wire sculpture.
Talked to mom for just a few minutes today. It seems there are a bunch of adjustments needed for dad, they had him on too much RX, he has a nasty bed sore on his foot, the paralyzed one, he may be suffering from sleep apnea, but can't turn over on his side to breathe better. Oh heaven's! Help that man, and PLEASE help my mom who is trying to care for him... please give her patience! I will be glad to see him in July. I'm hoping for more than vegetable state. I saw him last as a spunky, alive man. I don't know that I can take depressed, ready to die, dad. It may break my wee heart.
Speaking of which, getting VERY excited for out trip out there, can't believe it's almost June! Wow!
