Goals for the month...

A new year is among us. We had a wonderful Christmas break and a great New Year. I'll try to go back and get some photos posted with stories for the family.
I do this every year when I put away Christmas decor... my house is still a mess because I can't just put my stuff away I have to reorganize my whole house! I've been washing walls, going through toys, buying bins, throwing away, redecorating... which is good except I still don't feel good because my house is still in shambles and not finished!

I have needed some motivation. I feel like the days are dragging me by. I can't seem to find my drive, it's frustrating me.

Sometimes I make resolutions. I have a few big things I want to accomplish this year, but for goal making itself I want to make monthly goals. I'm not great at goal setting. Don't get me wrong, I do a crap load of stuff, I just don't goal set. I'd like to do that. I just taught a little lesson to my primary girls on this and it's important to empower yourself with setting and completing a goal.

*This month I'd like to get my family room painted. If I find it easy despite my busy life then I'd like to get the entry done too, if not there is always February!

*I want to continue with my daily reading, finishing the Book of Mormon in 100 days.
-- I found THIS SITE this morning and I'm not ready to read the whole standard works in one year, but I want to read this blog every day, or several days a week and mark or study what inspires me. I need more greatness in my life, it's up to me to find it. I was very touched by today's post about virtue.

* I want to finish scrapbooking the month of December. I want to spend some time in this area re-evaluating my hobby, or lack of it, and what memories are important to record and the method in which to do it.
