Fighting Dragons...
I got this large trash can from Shannon. She borrowed some vases and bought a shutter. We went to put the stuff in her car and I saw this. I didn't know what I'd do with it, but I wanted it and she was going to return it. So we swapped and I brought it in.
Hmmmm. While I was thinking the boys grabbed the lid up right away and went into warrior mode, running through the house fighting things! It was loud, but I let them go, banging on the 'shield' until I found something for this fabulous piece of tin!
As long as we are on the topic of little E. That cut on his lip is evidence of his short but spirited life! He is always battered! He recently jumped off the couch (against all motherly rules of course) and face planted in the wood floor. His teeth went through his top lip. Today he hit his bottom lip. He seems to always have some evidence of a crash.
He has been my sweet boy! I am saddened as I see those days leaving me! He is all full of sass right now, but if you look at him long enough he burst into laughter.
He is a little naughty.
He loves to chase after and wrestle O. Even when his older siblings tell him to stop (get off I can't breathe, let go of my shirt you're choking me, stop pushing) he continues to pester until they lash out!
We were driving in the van this week and I asked O to stop kicking the back of my chair. I ever so sweetly threatened him after I asked twice (myvoicewasloudwhenididthis). He looked threatened, but E sat next to him in a belly laugh chanting... do it again, do it again! Does he not see my very mad face? Didn't phase him! Do it again, do it again!!!
When you ask him what he wants to eat he says... I want, I want, I want at least 10 times before the secret is revealed!
He is my best eater. This morning he wanted cheese sticks and pepperoni for breakfast... normally I shutter, but today I gave it to him!
He wants to be 'super naked' ALL of the time! His favorite time of the day is after bath, when he can run around in his birthday suit. He'll shake his booty and say... I super naked!
I love that he will pucker for a kiss and after I give it he'll say... thanks mom. Even if I ask for a kiss, he'll still thank me for kissing him. I will always love that. Who says thanks for a kiss?
We were walking through the store this week and a lady stopped me. I asked if she remembered me, because I remembered her. She said, yes that as she passed me she recognized E's little face. It reminded her of G. She was one of G's pre-k teachers. He looks so much like G, but is very different! I'd say as far as my mild G is, E is the exact opposite!
We love this little man. He makes me so happy. I'm glad he's my 4th child so I can actually laugh at some of his personality traits!
OH heavens... as for that trash can, perfect wreath storage! I've not been able to find a good storage solution for my wreaths until this trash can came into my life!!!
