Always behind...
Last week was super busy, theme of my life!
We put on a little summer camp each day from 9-1 for our activity day girls. They had such a great time, but it was a lot of work! Worth it of course! We made things like baby sitting kits, necklaces, A of F books, headbands, bread to eat for our Sacrament meeting, we decorated cupcakes for my birthday, played games, ate lunch, cleaned up.
It sure was a shock to the system to have us all up and going that early in the morning! Next week will hurt... surely! This is our last week of sleeping in!
Tuesday was my 34th birthday and all of the girls were super cute. Brenda got me a little something, Eliza took my 3 kids, Molly surprised me with Chipotle at lunch time (super cute, was desperately in need of that diet coke!) and brought balloons. Amy brought some cake, since we had cupcakes I went ahead and took those home to eat myself!!! I did share with my family! I had many fabulous wishes from all of my Facebook friends, it made me feel loved.
Matt took me and the kids out to Red Robin and they sang to me! Nice! Had my favorite milk shake! Matt bought me a cricut for my birthday! I'm excited to get going with that, need to make a place for it first!
Wednesday evening I went to take dance class, I'm tight, haven't stretched at all this summer, usually do... felt a little out of it, but we'll get there!
Thursday evening I met with a cute bride and her fiance! We booked her engagement shoot in October and I don't have the deposit yet, but plan to shoot the wedding next year! Matt went to play cards again, he's been having fun with the guys.
Friday we watched the C's kids, but during the day we went over to Damita's apartment building to swim. Felt good to get some sun!
Saturday was much fun. Matt golfed with guys from work in the morning and when he got back we went to WoodLawn Beach.
While we waited outside the kids saw a neighbor screaming down the street, so they anxiously awaited our turn... they found out teachers. They are both excited. Q has Swain and G has Munroe.
We had a great time and were impressed with the beach. The kids had such a great time in the sand and on the playground. M and I commented several times that we'd never seen E so self occupied. It was so peaceful w/o pestering! Q worked on a huge sandcastle with some young girls and the boys made friends at the play ground. I tried to be nice and neighborly and told some chick she had food on her face... it was a piercing!
We came back with just enough time for me to change and I headed out with the Kneiss family for their shoot. Love this family, love that they come back every year!
The boys headed out right when I got home, Matt took G to the opening football game. They loved it, it was a great game!
I took the other 3 to Lowe's to get polyurethane for my project of the week. Then we went and got ice cream.
A great week! I loved Sunday. Good lessons. Loved snuggling my babe and relaxing.
