We are home...
We are back home in NY, but no where near adjusted!
Yesterday we woke at 11-something pm and I just got up... at 10:15.
I guess that is progress!
I spent the day unpacking yesterday. I got almost everything put away. My rule of thumb is to get all laundry done before the trip home so I can just put it all away.
The kids played great yesterday, home is like a new place. In fact I turned on a show for O this morning and walked away and he started crying, didn't want to be alone! I have woken up at night and still wonder where I am, home is not familiar!
Today we headed to Olcott, NY to play at the little amusement rides by the beach.
There is now a little splash pad near there and we stopped there afterwards.
Then home again, thank heavens Matt was home, left the kids here then went to BJ's to replenish our food! I am bugged when I get all my stuff into a cart and they can't pack it as well so I end up leaving with stuff falling off my cart, or in this case an additional cart! What is up with that!?
Photo shoot tonight.
It is good to be back, and I guess why wait to get back into everything?
I have shoots to edit, shoots to shoot, activities to plan, a few lb's to work off!
I do appreciate my van, I could just kiss it! We were fortunate to borrow Helen's van while in UT. I am thankful, but it's so good to have doors that slide again!
Not loving having to take care of cooking and dishes again!
BUT it's good to be home!
Oh, and check this out... Cand's birth story... it totally made me cry!
