Monday and pumpkin carving

My gratitude for...
1) Sixlets candy
2) Green Day
3) Newly polished nails
4) Riptide Rush Gatorade
5) The gate that keeps O out of my craft room. Blast when I forget to put it up!

Just some little things that really make me happy. I really feel so blessed.

Just about a week before Halloween we took a trip to the Great Pumpkin Farm and enjoyed the fall festivities there. Along with selling pumpkins, Indian corn, bails of hay and such, it's also like a fall carnival on the weekends. We went through the hay maze, bought snacks and cider, the kids played on the slides. It was a bunch of fun. We picked out our pumpkins and came home, turned on music and carved. The kids are big enough now to do their own, although they still don't like to gut them. (I'll post photos from the farm later. For now here are our pumpkins)

This was M's. It's sort of hard to tell what it is after you take the paper off.

This was mine. I decided to try something new this year. I just carved through the skin.

Q's on the L and G's on the R.
