This girl is die-hard!
I'll catch up eventually! I've got a January review post in the works! For now I'll start here...
This girl is die hard!
Q had to turn in her Valentines today. Their class if having a party later in the week. She started at the end of last week making little cards. She didn't have school on Friday so during our mother/daughter time, I asked if she wanted to purchase some Valentines so we could work on writing them all out. She said no, she still didn't want any. I'd asked her several times if she was sure she wanted to MAKE ALL OF HER VALENTINES! She was adamant. So, we went with it!
I used scrap paper to make all of her cards and she colored hearts on them and wrote little notes to her friends. Each and every one! I put a few stamps on the insides of the cards, but she did the writing, and even tied ribbon on some. I helped her however she needed it! She took some well deserved breaks, but completed every single one of them!!!
I know I totally made all of my Valentines growing up, box included, but seriously no one does that today! I hope those little friends appreciate her hard work! I know I'm very impressed!
It was so fun to sit on the floor and create with my girl! We are usually in my room together doing our own things, but we really enjoyed working on her project together! I'm so glad I have a little buddy to craft with!
I've also been making bows these past couple of days. Here are some picts. Some of them are available to buy. That uber colorful one is to go with these crazy tights I picked up at Target! Love it!
I've been scrapping. My goal for January was to replace all of the old layouts that are currently hanging on my gallery wall. I only got halfway through, but in my defense I have also been working on a mini book that holds my POTD from last year. That is pretty equal to the final four!
I've been hanging photos, cleaning, painting, dancing, cooking, studying, writing, eating, shopping, playing... all these fabulous things that make each day fly by!
