Past week
This past week the kids had no school for winter break.
The time flew by. We had something every day.
Matt took Monday off and we spent some time working, we went out to lunch at Red Robin, and purchased our mammoth double dresser for the boys room. I must say I love it! It was a beast to get upstairs, but we did it!
Tuesday we had Clair and Evelyn over for a play date. It was good to be with them. We don't get together very often. I took a few photos of myself this day. I'm serious when I say just a few! Getting up and down, going back and forth with the self timer kept it short and sweet! I did get a few that I enjoy...
Wednesday I had a doctors apt. Things look good. Next apt I start getting checked! Crazy that I only have 5 wks left! This pregnancy has gone by so quickly. I still feel great and am not planning on delivering early at all!!!
Kari watched the kids for me, O included. That was a first, but he did great! I ended up staying there all day! It was great to catch up and visit.
Thursday morning we got up and headed over to Tara's. I took pictures of this cute little lady!
We had lunch and visited, again, so great to spend some time with my friend! It's been so long!
That afternoon, I hit Hobby Lobby. Can I just insert here how much I adore this store? It's pretty fab!
I've had dance this week, with the exception of Wednesday morning, that was a nice little break. My dances are coming along. This week I felt a burst of energy while dancing, from the excitement of soon moving without the lump sticking out of the front of me!
Friday we had nothing and that was so nice! The kids, of course were geared up to have another play date, but mom was warmly welcoming being at home in my sweats! I've been making hair bows for the last couple of weeks, and I've really enjoyed it. I've put a few up HERE and will be updating it with the rest this week. I did use cute N as a little model for the 'baby size' bows...
Saturday night Matt and I went on a date... first time w/o O. There were a few moments of drama/trauma, but he made it through and was sleeping when we saw him! We'll see if the C's want to take him again! O will soon have to buck up and deal with his separation anxieties! I can't take him with me to the hospital now can I? Poor guy! We all have to do it at some point! I really think it's harder on me than him! I'm all silly about that!
It sure was nice to just be w/ my hottie though. We went to one of the only two Mexican restaurants here, Cinco de Mayo. I was not pleased this time around... they didn't fry my chimmy... why get one unless it's fryed? I can make a chicken wrapped tortilla at home! I can't fry it! That, coupled with the extra chicken parts (bone) added to my dinner, made it a bit of a bummer. I guess I should've listened to my date and tried the new place!
After dinner my man, who is very secure in his manliness accompanied me to the Hob Lob so we could look at their furniture. I'm now in the market for a nice book case. We only left w/ a birthday gift for G and some Cadbury Cream eggs, but it was well worth it! Have I said I enjoy that store? Yes I have. Have I mentioned how into the Cadbury Cream eggs I am right now? No. Well I am! There are times that I have to say I'm glad they put the coming holiday stuff out way too early!!!
