Happy Birthday to my girl...

We had a birthday at our house this weekend.
Our little girl turned 5!!! So crazy!

We had a family party this year... several of them!
Saturday night we got together with the Plumb's and sang to Q and had cake for her b-day.
Sunday we did the real deal, plus she got it again at the Chamberlain's.
Monday we celebrated at Chuck E Cheese, so yet again!
Today at school she was the birthday girl/leader and the fun just doesn't stop!!!
I almost felt bad for not throwing her a friend party this year!

THE FULL STORY (LONG)
Thursday:
Love these days. I don't have dance or any other obligations. It makes my day relaxing! I did have E over to play with Q, then that evening went to dinner w/ Damita. We hung out for a while and that was great. It's been a long time for us.
Friday:
Created this...

for the challenge of the week at ASF. It was "10 things I am not."
Paige came over and the kids played while we talked, ate and crafted.
Friday was supposed to be date night, but the C's had sick kids. Instead we went to eat as a family then went to visit the Chiapelli's new baby.
Saturday:
Q had dance, I went to the store, we cleaned, I prepared my lesson, then we got a call to have dinner at the Plumb's. Fun! We had pizza, played a new game (Matt kicked our butts), visited, sang happy birthday, ate cup cakes then came home.
After we put the kids to bed I got busy wrapping birthday presents, making cute birthday signs, and, after Q fell asleep, decorating her room with streamers and balloons. Whew.
Sunday:
Q got up and was so excited about her birthday and the pink decorations in her room! Then she went downstairs and found her presents. Pretty exciting!

We let her open one gift before church. She was treated pretty special there too.
When we came home we had lunch, sang and ate cake. This is where we had 'birthday interuptus'!
Matt and I were invited last minute to go with the Christensen's out of town, just to Fredonia like an hour away. It was an overnight stay with dinner and breakfast paid for. We couldn't pass it up! The Chamberlain's took our kids overnight. So glad we feel comfy leaving or kids with them! So after singing and cake we took the kids to the Chamberlains.
We went out of town, had a great time with our friends and came back the next day! The kids did great, minus G and a little bit of crying at bed time.
Monday:
We picked the kids up around 4p and headed to Chuck E Cheese, I think/hope for the last time!!! After a marathon of air hockey with G and pizza we were ready to go. At home we sang one more time then opened the rest of Q's gifts. She is such a trooper waiting to open the rest of them.

I think she had a great birthday and we all had a great weekend.
