Happy Labor Day
It has been a day of work... mostly for Matt... and rest... mostly for me!!!
Going back...
I love getting my hair done! I went Friday morning and can I just say that I love my hair girl? She does such a great job! I got some layers and put more blond in the back.
Saturday I did an open house at CS dance studio. I'm so excited to teach there this year. Next week I begin. The floors just got refinished. I loved the smell. I can't wait to dance on them.
Saturday night Matt and I got a sitter and went on a short notice date with the Plumb's. That was fun. We actually had a great time. It was spontaneous, we haven't gotten a sitter in a while. We ate good food at Roadhouse then saw Bourne Ultimatum... is that what it's called?
Yesterday at church I had a random meeting. I danced with a girl named Stephanie while at Ricks College. I haven't seen her for like 9 years. Small world I ran into her on Sunday in my church building. Random. She and her mother were dropping off her sister who is going to school here this year. Wow. It was crazy and I wanted to hole up and catch up with her. So great to see a blast from my college past.
Also yesterday we had about a nine hour party with the Chamberlains! It was so great! We had dinner, played games and they put their kids down here so we could watch a movie. It is so great to have them back 'home'. We have sure missed them.
Going forward...
This week is Q's first day of school.
This week I start watching E again.
I have my first Dr. apt.
I start choreography for our stake play... Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat.
I mail a layout in for publication... wait, what? It has been sooooo long since I have submitted anything, but I got an email today requesting my 'evolution' layout. It's a recent one I did about my sister and I. It feels good to have something picked up. Who knows, I may start submitting again!
I'm back to running again. I took a week and a half off, due to sickness. I went this morning and, although I need to slow down, it feels so good to be out on the road again. It is so good for my psyche.
