Well, I'll add to the "3 new things I've tried this year" (see below) auditioning for a TV show and auditioning for a professional dance company.

Neither went as well as hoped for...

Both left me feeling vulnerable, especially the company audition...

I am a bit past my prime, I am out of season in skills such as picking up movement quickly, keeping calm while everyone is staring at me, pulling it back together if I mess up. I'm past my prime for auditioning.

Why try?

Well, I seem to have this strange desire to put myself out there, to be a part of big things!

I'm learning to get up even if I fail... and look silly.

I'm learning that although I may not be the right fit for a company or TV show dance is still important to me and I'll continue to do it because of the way it makes me feel.

I never thought I'd teach. When I was in school... in my prime... I had the desire to perform, be a professional, that was it! I've learned that I'm actually good at teaching and I really like it. It has become an outlet for me.

I'm glad I went to the audition. I did have to submit a resume and headshot for it... which made me take pictures of myself... I love photography!

So, what have we learned from today's post! I'm a little bit crazy, and I still love to dance!

This week I'll be watching an infant as well as little E. I'm a little nervous about it, but I'm sure we'll be fine.

I've finished some photos here are the links maternity and kids. I still have two more to finish.
